Terry Iran Whitney, Jr. was born on August 7, 1985, to Terry Whitney Sr & Michele Chavis Hopkins in Washington NC.

Terry received his formal education from Washington High School in Washington NC.

Terry was a member of Lion of Judah Community Church of God.

Terry was united in holy matrimony with Kathryn Cobb on July 13, 2016, in Washington NC. Their union was blessed with six children.

He was employed by Arby’s as a cook for 6 years.

In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the video game, playing basketball, cooking and helping others.

He was a member of L.T.O., MTW and Franchise.

Terry was preceded in death by: his father, Terry Iran Whitney, Sr.; and the woman and he called “Ma”, Mary Bell Spencer (Mabell).

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; Kathryn Whitney, his children; Danion Whitney, Bri’Yyanna Cobb-Credle, Azayvion Whitney, Ji’Yyani McCarter, Ah’Zuri McCarter & Terry Iran Whitney, III; his mother, Michele Chavis Hopkins; his sisters and brothers, Chiquita Pena (Karl), Shontelle Riddick, Robert Wilson, Kaliah Wilson, Tyrese Howard, Kenneth Tucker Sr., L.A. Warren, Ieshia Sherrod, Cornelious Keyes, Travon Davis, Tyrauis Howard & Asante Porter; his grandmother, Anita Whitney Freeman; and a very special uncle, Arnold Whitney (Shanekqua), as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
