Mr. Stephen A. Troutt of Ayden, N.C. entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2022.
Stephen Austin Troutt was born on April 30, 1995, to Paul Stephen Troutt and Anissa Yvonne Walser Troutt. Stephen left this life on June 29,, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Alford Troutt and Margaret Butner Troutt; his maternal grandmother, Louise Elizabeth Curry Michael; and his stepfather, Bret J. Keehl.
Stephen attended Dexter High School in Dexter, Michigan, where he made many friends along the way. He was one of the few genuine, family-oriented people you could ever meet. Those who had the pleasure of meeting Stephen knew him as a great friend – someone you could always turn to. He had a smile and laugh that could light up the room; a personality that could turn one of your worst days into one of your best memories ever.
He was so compassionate and generous that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who was in need. Steven had an unconditional love for animals and loved going on long walks with his best friend, Nemo, and Sophie daily.
Stephen was loved very much by his family and friends – near and far. He will forever hold a “special place” in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was truly unique.
Stephen was “one of a kind.”
Cherishing and focusing on Stephen’s precious memories are: his parents, Steve Troutt of Southport, NC, Anissa Troutt of Ayden, NC; his sister, Codi Renee (Austin) Akemann of Whitmore Lake, MI; a very special nephew, Isaiah Jay Akemann; three sisters: Heather Nicole (Casey) Bullins of Lexington, NC, Kristi Leigh Durham of Mocksville, NC, and Angela Gail (Chad) Mincey of Walnut Cove, NC; his beloved dog, Nemo; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
