Mr. Stanly Jones 43, of Portsmouth, VA formerly of Fountain, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Portsmouth, VA.

Stanly Odell Jones was born March 26, 1980, to the union of Johnny and Geraldine Harris in Falkland, N.C.

Stanly Odell Jones received his formal education in the Pitt County School System in Farmville, N.C.

Stanly accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, and he served with Highways and Hedges and True Believers of Christ as a Drummer.

Stanly Jones was united in holy matrimony with Marquita Smith in Portsmouth, VA. Their union was blessed with two children.

He was employed by Roses in Portsmouth, VA as a stocker. In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking, music, and watching the Washington Redskins.

Stanly Odell Jones departed this life on February 20, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Geraldine Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Marquita Smith Jones; children, Cameron Jones, Daion Jones, and Daivon Jones; sisters, Myra Jones (Dan), Mary Ann Jones, and Nikki Jones; one brother, Qunicy Jones; nephews, Kristen Williams, Jakarter Baker, and Treavon Jones; nieces, Jamacian Baker, Elaysha Boyd, and Jahkeria Barnes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
