Mr. Rosevelt Leroy Rich of Tarboro, N.C. entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2022.
Mr. Rosevelt Leroy Rich was born on April 7, 1968, to the union of James Ivory Ruffin and Hazel Gray Hinton in Tarboro, North Carolina.
Rosevelt received his formal education in the Edgecombe County public school system.
He was known for being the life of the party and never meeting a stranger. In being such a people person, he acquired numerous nicknames along the way, such as Blaze, Cookout, and Curt Boy.
Mr. Rosevelt Leroy Rich departed this life on June 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rosevelt leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Jaevon Joyner of Goldsboro, North Carolina; fiancée, Angela Hawkins of Tarboro, North Carolina; four sisters, Mary Little (Norman), Eula Downing (William), Rosa Ricks, and Renee Rich; four brothers, Percy Rich (Palette), James Rich (Robin), Cleveland Ricks, and Antwan Subotich; special nephew, Morris Ricks; aunts, Callie Ruffin, Arnimiss Ruffin, Lesterine Knight, and Geraldine Knight (Curtis); uncles, Curtis Ruffin and Johnnie Ruffin (Loretta); along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
