Mr. Roderick Carney was born February 26,1959 to the union of Leon Barnes and Rosella Carney in Tarboro, North Carolina.

Mr. Roderick Carney received his formal education in Tarboro City school system in N.C.   He furthered his education at Edgecombe Community College in Tarboro, N.C.

Mr. Roderick Carney accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age.

Mr. Roderick Carney was united in holy matrimony with Ms. Luvenia Dickerson Cox September 19th, 1999, in Zebulon, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his Father Leon Barnes, and his wife Luvenia Cox Carney

Mr. Roderick was employed as a Cook for well over 25 years. In his leisure

Mr. Roderick enjoyed cooking and doing yard maintenance.

Mr. Roderick Carney departed this life April 17, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.

Mr. Roderick Carney leaves to cherish his memory his mother Rosella Carney of Tarboro, N.C., two brothers: Monty Ray Carney, and Ricky Carney of Tarboro, N.C., and a host of other relatives and friends.
