Ms. Regina Johnson of Greenville, N.C. entered into eternal September 15, 2021.
Regina was born September 12, 1966, to the late Dicie Johnson Davis and Fred Davis in Pitt County NC. Doctors diagnosed Regina with Muscular Dystrophy at birth. She attended the local Pitt County Schools.
Regina went home to be with the Lord during a peaceful nap at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Snow Hill, NC on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
During Regina’s leisure time she enjoyed listening to gospel music, two of her favorite artists were The Barnes Sisters “More and More Like Jesus” and Shirley Caesar” Hold my Mule.” Regina loved to praise the Lord with a beautiful dance until her health began to fail her.
Early in life Regina attended Christ Temple Holiness Church, Bethel NC where she sang in the choir. Regina later joined Burning Bush under the leadership of Bishop Lillie Boyd, she was a member of the choir and an Usher. Regina also attended Harvest Church.
Preceding Regina in death her mother Dicie Johnson Davis and her grandmother Viola Johnson.
Regina leaves to cherish her memory (1) daughter Shameeka Johnson of the home. (1) son Ramel Johnson (Quanna) of Greenville NC, her father Fred Davis {Deloris} of Greenville NC. (1) Sister Felicia Davis of Greenville NC; (1) Stepbrother Quincy Willliams (Karen) Willow Springs, NC (1) Stepsister Tamatha Williams, Winterville, NC (4) Grand Children: Zachristian Spencer, ShamarionEdwards, Aniyah Johnson and Camiyah Johnson all of Greenville NC, (1) Adopted daughter: Ebony Dixon of Greenville NC (1) God daughter; Tiffany Evette Williams of Greenville NC. (5)God grandchildren: Treyshawn, Jaquan, Fantisha, Donquauvous and Blessing of Greenville NC. (2)special aunts Mary Ann Johnson of Greenville NC and Elizabeth Davis (Eugene} of Greenville NC. A special caregiver whom Regina loved dearly Ebony Hawkins of Greenville NC, God Mother Evangelist Rosa Everett of Greenville NC, close friend Brenda Ward, her lifetime friend James Spellman of Greenville NC and a host of nieces’ nephews other relatives and friends
