Ms. Margaret Lee Williams of Tarboro, N.C. entered into eternal rest on October 28, 2021.

Margaret Lee Williams was born on December 17, 1940, to the union of Herman Lee Ruffin and Lillie Bea Taylor Ruffin in Tarboro, NC. She departed this life on October 28, 2021.

Margaret Lee Williams received her formal education at Wimberly School in Dunbar, NC. 

Margaret Lee Williams accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and was united with Harts Chapel Baptist Church where she joined the choir. 

Margaret Lee Williams was employed by The Fountains at Albemarle as a cook until she retired.

In her leisure, she enjoyed playing poker, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Herman Lee Ruffin and Lillie Bea Ruffin; children: Mary Frances Smith, Delzora Williams, and Mack Williams; grandsons, Justin Smith and Reginald Alston.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Children: James Ruffin, Emerson Williams, Kenneth Williams, and Sherry Williams all of Tarboro, NC, DeLores Williams of Richmond, MN; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brothers, Curtis Ruffin and Johnnie Ruffin (Loretta) of Tarboro, NC; sisters: Callie Ruffin of Baltimore, MD, Arnimiss Ruffin, Lesterine Knight, and Geraldine Knight (Curtis) all of Tarboro, NC; Godson, James Ricks; Special friend, Lillie Burgess, Roger Gunter, and Linda Cherry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
