Ms. Fannie Gatlin

Ms. Fannie Gatlin of Greenville, N.C. entered into eternal rest on February 12,2021.

Fannie Mae Harper Gatlin was born on June 5, 1931, to the union of Woodrow Harper and Dollie Anne Bridges in Greenville, NC. She departed this life on February 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Curtis Earl Gatlin.

Fannie received her formal education in the Pitt County School System in Greenville, NC. She continued her education at Pitt Community College in Winterville, NC, where she received her Cosmetology License.

Her working career included Claro’s Barnhill Beauty Salon where she worked as a Cosmetologist and retired. She also retired from ECU.

She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Thompson (Daryl) of Greenville, NC; five grandchildren: Curtis (Tiffany), Chris, Joseph, Jasmine and Jessica; 13 great-grandchildren; cousins: John Bridges, Barbara Taft and Peggy Taft; the most wonderful home health anyone could have, Tammy Whitehurst; and a host of other relatives and friends.
