Ms. Fannie Jean Drake

Ms. Fannie Drake of Farmville, N.C. Entered into eternal rest on November 2,2020 at Vidant Medical Center. 
Fannie Jean Drake, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lucy Moore Verene, was born on November 15, 1937, in Fountain, North Carolina. She departed this life on November 2, 2020.
Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Drake; her mother, Lucy Verene; her son, Reggie Drake; her brother, Alvin Moore; her sisters: Bernice Johnson, Hilda Darden and Aldean Moore.
Fannie received her formal education in the Pitt County Schools System at H. B. Suggs in Farmville, North Carolina.
Fannie Moore was later united in marriage to Mr. Robert Lee Drake, who preceded her in death. Their union was blessed with four children.
Fannie’s working life included being a cook and childcare worker/babysitter, but for a large portion of her life, Fannie was a devoted homemaker.
In her leisure, she enjoyed puzzle books, watching The Young and the Restless and doing whatever she could to help her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children: Earl Moore (Jacqueline), Samuel Drake and Rhonda King; her grandchildren: Chiquita Moore, Zhykira King, Davisa King, David King, Daveshia King, KeithForeman, Earl Moore, Jr., Jamichael Moore, Keenen Moore and Tiffany Williams; one great-grandchild, Skylee King; her siblings: Charles Moore of the home, Clarence Moore of Farmville, North Carolina, Grace Moore of Freeport, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
