Ms. Bertha Wooten Daniels of Greenville, N.C. entered into eternal rest on May 15, 2022.

Mrs. Bertha Wooten Daniels was born on May 19, 1960, to the union of the late Charles H. Wooten and Goldie B. Wooten in New Haven, Connecticut.

Mrs. Bertha Wooten Daniels departed this life on May 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents The late Charles Wooten and Goldie Wooten; two sisters Janice Wooten and Paula Wooten; one brother Barrett Wooten; and one granddaughter Canyla Wooten.

Mrs. Bertha Wooten Daniels received her formal education at Hill House High School in New Haven, Connecticut. She then furthered her education at Pitt Community College in Winterville, N.C.

Mrs. Bertha Wooten Daniels accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age.

She was employed by Smithfield Packing (Dycos) as a Floor Worker. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and shopping.

Mrs. Bertha Wooten Daniels was a strong woman who faced many challenges but was able to overcome some difficulties during periods of her life. She was a very caring and nurturing women, her family was her everything and more. Bertha loved her kids and grandchildren more than life itself. She was a loyal friend who ensured she kept her enemies closer. She was known as “BERT” who kept the streets close to her heart.

She leaves to cherish in her memory: Six Children Brandon Wooten (New Haven), Tykisha Hilton, Diana Hilton, Dalneine Cabiness, Goddess Daniels (All of the home), and Cieara Mayo; Sisters Dolores Shackleford (Lawrence) and Golden Anderson; Brother Charles Wooten; Host of grandchildren that she adored and loved very much; Special Friends Betty Pearl, Sheilia Holmes, Robin Jefferson, Treece Woolard, and Tazzy Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
