Ms. Barbara Wiggins

Ms. Barbara Wiggins of Fairfield, N.C. entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2021 at her home. 
 

Barbara Ann Wiggins aka Dookie was born on October 13, 1977, to the union of Vanessa and James Wiggins in Belhaven, NC. She departed this life on October 24, 2021.

Barbara Wiggins received her formal education in the Hyde County School System in Swan Quarter, NC at Mattamuskeet High School.

Barbara Wiggins accepted Christ as her savior and was united with Jobe’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a choir member.

In her leisure, she enjoyed attending church and singing in the choir, basketball, crossword puzzles, and watching TV. Barbara volunteered at Mattamuskeet School. She enjoyed being a candy striper for Pungo District Hospital where she worked for ten years.

She was preceded in death by: grandmother, Betty Davis; grandfather, Willie Davis, Sr.; and her brother, Marshall Holloway.

She leaves to cherish her memories: children; Erica Stokes (Lewis) of Asheboro, NC and Marshall Betts of Durham, NC; grandchild, Malachi Stokes; parents, Vanessa Wiggins (Maxwell Selby) and James Wiggins (Lorane Wiggins); siblings: Betty Moore and James Wiggins of Fairfield, NC, and Temica Wiggins of Washington, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends.
