Ms. Annette “Star-Asia” Griffin Obituary

Ms. Annette “Star-Asia” Griffin of Pantego N.C. entered into eternal rest on August 22,2020.

 

Annette “Star Asia” Griffin was born on April 12, 1957, to the union of Talmon and Bernice Griffin in Brooklyn, New York.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Griffin, her sister, Janice Parker and her brother, Jimmy Griffin.

Annette accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Bread of Life Ministry where she served as a Mother.

Annette received her formal education in the Brooklyn, NY, School System.

Annette’s joy came from her family. She was the Family Protector. She loved deeply and fought for the ones she loved.She enjoyed spending quality and quantitative time with her family. 

Her main concern was making others happy and making them smile. She was full of joy and looked for the good in everyone.She honored the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”

To rejoice in her memory and mourn her passing, Annette leaves her four children: Tanikwa Griffin, Maisha Griffin, Shareef Griffin and Jamel Griffin; her Life Partner of 33 years, Ronald “Teardrop” Davener; and very special grandchildren: Tyreef, Jennett and Johnikwa Windley; eighteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; her father, Talmon Griffin; a sister, Barbara Bunch; and one brother, Ronnie Griffin; and a host ofnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
