Mrs. Mary Lee Jones

Mrs. Mary Lee Jones of Washington, N.C. entered into eternal rest on March 6,2021.

Mary Lee Daniels Jones was born on September 17, 1962, to the union of James Daniels and Minnie Bell Daniels in Washington, NC. She departed this life on March 6, 2021.

Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, Minnie Bell Daniels and James Daniels.

Mary received her formal education in the Beaufort County Schools System in Washington, NC. She furthered her education at Beaufort Community College, also in Washington, NC.

Mary accepted Christ and was united with Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church where she served as Secretary. 

She was united in holy matrimony to William M. Jones, Sr. on January 31, 1983, in Washington, NC. Their union was blessed with five children.

Mary was employed at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington as a Dietary Aide from 2001 through 2016.

In her leisure time, her passions included spending time with family, listening to music and completing Word Search Puzzles.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her spouse, William M. Jones, Sr.; her children: William M. Jones, Jr,, Alicia Jones, Christopher Jones, Pauline Jones and Henry Jones, Jr.; her grandchildren: ShontaiJah Jones, Jawonte Jones, James Jett III, Nykeem Jett, Aria Jones, Alex Jones, Cassius Jones, Hendrix Jones and Christopher Jones, Jr.; siblings: William Coleman, Linda Latham (Donnie) and Edna Campbell (Tony;) and a host of other relative and friends.
