Mrs. Mamie Keyes of Washington, N.C. entered into eternal rest on June 11,2021.

Mamie Branch Keyes was born on July 11, 1950, to the union of John Branch, Jr. and Derrie Mae Midgett in Roper, NC. She departed this life on June 11, 2021.

Mamie received her formal education in Beaufort County School System in Washington, NC. 

Mamie accepted Christ as her Savior during her middle age years and was united with Burning Bush Holiness Church.

Mamie Branch was united in holy matrimony with Arthur Keyes on December 30, 1966, in Washington, NC.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed various puzzles, dancing, and bingo. 

Mamie was preceded in death by her mother, Derrie Mae Branch; her son, Shawn Keyes; and her brother, James Branch.

She is survived by: her spouse, Arthur Keyes; her children: Arthur Keyes, Jr., William Keyes, Yalonda “AKA” Her big daughter; grandchildren: Felicity Keyes (Melvin), Tijhaye Keyes, Keyonna Keyes, Keria Keyes, and Kameelah Keyes; great grandchildren: Aon’Daya Bassir, Neno Miller, and Feliciano Miller; father, John Branch, Jr.; Sisters: Dorothy Hines, Washington DC, Delena, Washington, NC, Eva Midgette (Johnny), Washington, NC, and Jon Ann Branch, Washington, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
