Mrs. Janice Crosby

Mrs. Janice Crosby of Greenville, N.C. entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2021.

Janice Marie Crosby was born on July 9, 1958, to the late Whit Salisbury and Susie Lee Salisbury in Greenville, NC. She departed this earthly life on November 13, 2021,at her home.

She received her education from the Pitt County School System at North Pitt High School. 

Janice joined Holly Hill Church in Belvoir, NC at an early age and is now united with Community Christian Church. She was a faithful praise dancer.

Janice worked several jobs over the years which included East Carolina University and she was last employed with Pitt County Schools as a Teacher Assistant. She volunteered for several agencies such as Pitt County Vidant Hospice. 

Her favorite past times were writing, reading, listening to gospel music, traveling, praise dancing, and spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by: son, Antonio O’NealEarly; parents, Whit and Susie Salisbury; sisters, Mary Frances Booker and Juanita Salisbury; brothers, Willie Lee Salisbury and Clarence Salisbury.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband, Anthony Scott Crosby of Greenville, NC; sons, Demetrius Montez Spellman of Charlotte, NC and Quentin Crosby of Greenville, NC; daughters: Candis Smith of Raleigh, NC, Eureka Crosby of Greenville, NC, Shianna Crosby of Henderson, NC; sisters, Pearlie Mae Little (James) of Catonsville, MD, Shirley Redmond (Rudolph) of Greenville, NC, Gloristine Salisbury-Gorham (Stanley) of Greenville, NC; brothers, Whit Salisbury, Jr. of Catonsville, MD, Walter Salisbury (Sheila) of Greenville, NC, and James Salisbury (Connie) of Savannah, GA; five granddaughters and one grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
