Mr. William Charles Larkin

Mr. William Charles Larkin of Aurora, N.C. entered into eternal rest on July 28,2021.

William Charles Larkin, Sr. was born on June 21, 1946, to the union of Arthur and Marybell Tyre Larkins in Aurora, NC.  William departed this life on July 28, 2021.

William received his formal education in the S. W. Snowden High School in Aurora, North Carolina.  William C. Larkin, Sr. accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher and trustee.

William C. Larkin, Sr. was previously married to Mary Catherine Parker and their union was blessed with three children. He was then united in holy matrimony to Cutelia T. Larkin on December 20, 1997, and he welcomed her two daughters as his own.

William C. Larkin, Sr. was employed by Texas Gulf for several years and then he worked as a foreman on the farm for many years. He then started his own dump truck company which he ran on his own until he passed. He was well known in his community as a hard-working man who loved his family.

In his leisure, he enjoyed working and watching good movies. William was preceded in death by; his parents, Arthur and Mary B. Tyre Larkin; son, William C. Larkin, Jr.; brother Doris Earl Tyre, Sr. (Buddy); sisters Marie Tyre Peed, Mary Lucille Taylor, and Gladys Simmons who was like a mother.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his spouse, Cutelia T. Larkin; children Sheila N. Shelton (Chris) of Clayton, NC, Eric Larkin of New Bern, NC; two stepdaughters, Latisha S. Tuten of Aurora, NC and Aleshia R. Little of Greenville, NC; twelve grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Lillie M. Larkins and Annie L. Grimes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
