Mr. Terry Jermaine Lanier

Mr. Terry Jermaine Lanier of Snow Hill, N.C. entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2021.

Terry Jermaine Lanier was born June 11, 1990, to the union of Mary Hill and Terry Lanier, Sr.in Wilson, NC. He departed this life on September 13, 2021.

Terry received his formal education Greene Central High School in Snow Hill, NC.

Terry Jermaine Lanier accepted Christ as his savior about five years ago and was united with St. Matthews in LaGrange, NC.

Terry Jermaine Lanier was united in holy matrimony with Tiera Gardner Lanier in 2016. Their union was blessed with three children.

Terry was employed for several years with Sanderson Farms as a line leader.

In his leisure, he enjoyed cutting hair. He was everyone’s favorite barber for many years. He was an all-around people’s person, the life of any party, a good and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. At a young age he loved to play basketball, he loved to listen to and develop music, and at one point of time he was aspiring to be a rapper. Most importantly, he knew and loved God. Whenever he took a shower, he would always say the Lord’s prayer. 

Terry was preceded in death by; his daughter, Ma’Kaylah Lanier; brother, Jeremy Lanier; and sister, Adrienna Timmons.

Terry leaves to cherish his memories: spouse, Tiera Gardner Lanier; children, Naonmi Lanier, Kaity Lanier, Chloe Lanier, Terri Lanier, and Santana Lanier; parents, Mary Hill (Jimmy Fields) and Terry Lanier, Sr. (Sheila); sisters and brothers, Sheneika Hill (Rashawn Murrell), Tierra Lanier, Sherba Lanier, Terry Lanier, Jr. (Lashundra), L. Andre Hill, Steven Davis, Kenneth Timmons, Tevin Lanier; best friend but more like a brother, Tyshon Kittrell; special friends, Bianca Harris; mother-in-law, Carolyn King Warren (Henry); sister-in-law, Jasmine King; brother-in-law, Ta’Varous Warren; grandmother-in-law, Loretta Gardner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
