Mr. Sylvester Eberson

Mr. Sylvester Eberson of Bath N.C. entered into eternal rest on February 3,2021.

Sylvester Earl Eberson was born on May 28, 1956, to Iceland Eberson. He departed this life on February 3, 2021. 

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Iceland Eberson, and his father; his mother and father-in-law, Isabelle and Charlie Jennette, Sr,; his uncles, James and Wade Eberson, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Charlie Jennette, Jr.

He received his formal education at Washington High School in Washington, NC. He furthered his education at Beaufort County Community College, also in Washington, NC.

Sylvester accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. 

He was united in holy matrimony with Shelvia Jean Jennette on January 7, 1991, in Washington, NC. God blessed them with two children.

Sylvester was employed by Whitehurst Produce, “Collard Man,” as a Laborer, and also worked with Bayview Golf Club, Mr. & Mrs. Leon Wingate and Mr. Oliver of Bath, NC, until his health no longer permitted him to work. 

In his leisure time, Sylvester enjoyed fishing, watching basketball and spending time with his loved ones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Shelvia J. Eberson of the home; two children, Shareeta J. White (Lav) and his son, Jamall Jennette; one grandchild, Quishaun Daniels; sisters, Charlene Riddle and Melinda Riddle; two sisters-in-law, Maureen Hardy and Lyle Spencer (Joseph); two brothers-in-law, Russell L. Jennette (Linda) and Mardell Jennette (Brenda); and one aunt, Patrician Everson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
