Mr. Marvin Lavonne Bragg

Mr. Marvin L. Bragg of Edward, N.C. entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2022.

Marvin Lavonne Bragg was born January 21, 1959, to the union of Yvonne Bragg and Herbert Ollison in Washington, NC.

Marvin L. Bragg received his formal education in Beaufort County School System in Aurora, NC.
Marvin accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was united with St. Anna Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a faithful member.

Marvin was united in holy matrimony with Diane Jenkins on March 31, 1993, in Washington, NC. Their union was blessed with two children.
He was employed by Trader Construction as a pipe worker for 20 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed watching TV, traveling, and playing the North Carolina Education Lottery.

Marvin L. Bragg departed this life on April 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Charlotte Bragg.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Diane Bragg; daughter, Ticarra Jenkins; son, Maurice Jenkins (Alicia); grandchildren, Evieyanna, Ramez, Carljerna, Marquise, Kamarion, and Zy’Aire; two great-grandchildren, Jakaden and Jaxavier; mother, Yvonne Bragg; father, Herbert Ollison (Norma); one brother, Timothy Bragg (Joy); three sisters, Vivian Cumberbatch (Ophnell), Vestere Ollison Craddock (James), and Cheryl Ollison King (Lindsay); three aunts, Harriett Cephus, Beulah Moore (Henry), and Viola Hudson; four uncles, Alphonsia Ollison, George Bragg (Jones), Curtis Bragg, and Jeffrey Bragg; two sisters-in- law, Lula Davis and Amelia Jenkins; one brother-in-law, Horace Jenkins; special friends, Ronnie Williams, Bobbie Lee Moore, Sr., and Floyd Gaskins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
