Mr. Jorge Fernandez Ruiz

Mr. Jorge Fernandez Ruiz of Washington, N.C. died on August 25,2020.

Jorge Fernandez Ruiz was born on April 23, 1963, to Natalia Fernandez and Delifino Ruiz Ojeda in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

Jorge completed his education in Mexico and always was good with his hands. He acquired hands-on experience in the construction industry.  

Jorge’s knowledge, talents and abilities enabled him to own and operate Ruiz’s Remodeling for over 30 years. 

One of Jorge’s greatest achievements was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He was united with Arca del Pacto in Greenville, where he served as a Pastor. He loved his church family with his whole heart!!! 

He loved the Lord and he taught by example. He was a man “after God’s own heart” and looked out for everyone. His words, deeds and thoughts always exemplified Christ. He lived by the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” 

He was united in marriage on November 8, 2002, to Esther Perea Garza. 

Carrying out his legacy of love in his memory are: his wife, Esther Perea Garza Ruiz of Della Cruz, Mexico; one son, Mario Madrid Perea of Greenville, N.C.; his mother, Natalia Fernandez of Oaxca, Mexico; two brothers, David Fernandez Ruiz of Greenville, N.C. and Ismael Fernandez Ruiz of Oaxca, Mexico; his sister-in-law Noemi Perea Garza of Greenville, N.C.; the Arca del Pacto Church Family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
