Mr. Jesse James Carmon of Winterville,N.C. entered into eternal rest on July 25,2021.
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we love is stilled.
A place in our heart is empty,
which never can be filled.
On Sunday July 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. God summoned for his angels to bring Jesse from his home on earth to his heavenly home. He was born November 23, 1962, in Pitt County to the late Malton Carmon, Sr. and Bernice Whitehurst Carmon.
Jesse received his formal education in the Pitt County School System and attended D.H. Conley High School.
For the last forty plus years, Jesse made Alexandria, VA his home.
Jesse had many talents. He worked as a carpenter, professional painter, and a tree cutter for the last forty years. He was on his way to work Sunday, but God had another plan.
Jesse was preceded in death by; his parents, Malton Carmon Sr. and Bernice Whitehurst Carmon.
He is survived by: his sisters: Vangelene Carmon Cratch (Henry) of Winterville, NC, Linda Kaye Carmon (Greg) of Ayden, NC, Carlene Ward (David) of Greenville, NC; his brothers, Albert Whitehurst and Ronnie Whitehurst of Pitt County, NC; Uncle Jeffrey Carmon, Sr (Warnele) of Durham, NC; three aunts: Mary Louise Carmon of Greenville, NC, Bonnie Mae Green and Ada Chapman of Ayden, NC; five adopted grandchildren: Samira Flowers, Kaden Caper, Karmelo Goodwin, Essence Mack-Moore, and Ethen Mack-Moore all of Alexandria, VA; a special friend who was dedicated until the end, Essa Mae Watt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
