Edward Zacchaeus Keys was born on July 10, 1996, to the union of Edward and Alpha Keyes in Washington, NC. He departed this life on September 4, 2021.
Edward “Big Man” Keys received his formal education at Washington High School in Washington, NC. He furthered his education at Work Source East located in Goldsboro, NC.

Edward accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Koinonia Christian Center Church. He was employed by the restaurant Down on Mainstreet as a dishwasher for five years. In his leisure, he enjoyed music, sports, fishing, and loved his dog “Diva”. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Edward “Big Man” Keys was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Perry and Alpha Wright; uncles, Perry Wright, Jr. and Jimmy L. Wright; and aunt, Deloris L. Wright.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories; his parents, Edward and Alpha Keys; sisters and brothers: Bernard Wright, Celette Keys, Ashanti Keys, Nyasia Oneal, and Stair Oneal; special like a brother, Austin Ezzle; nieces and nephews: Aniya Wright, Bernard Wright, Kemani Keyes, Karson Keyes; paternal grandparents, Cynthia Keyes and John Thompson; special grandma, Lucy Ward (William); aunts: Rosalind Satchell, Stephanie Bowen (Patrick), and Doris Keyes; uncles: Charles Wright (Kim), Joseph Wright, Howard Wright, and Lacey Keyes (Elizabeth); special aunt Betina Williams, Gwen Moore, and Lesley Woolard; a host of other relatives and friends; and his Down on Mainstreet family.
