Mr. Dy’Quavyon Dickens Jones of Florence, S.C. formerly of Tarboro, N.C. entered into eternal rest on April 24, 2022.
Dy’Quavyon Terrell Dickens Jones, affectionally known as “Quay”, departed this Earthly life on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born August 28, 2004, in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, to Daryl Jones and Shaquita Dickens. Quay, a graduating senior, attended South Florence High School and actively participated in football (Captain), basketball (Varsity Captain), baseball, and track. With a captivating smile, and a charismatic spirit, Quay left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with.
Quay was an active member of Antioch Fellowship Church, where he played the drums. He also mentored younger children in the area of baseball and traveled with the Phantom Ballerz AAU Basketball team. Although Quay has left his Earthly home, he has united in his Heavenly home with his sister, Trinity Jones.
