Dremal Valentinio Keys was born on July 13, 1987, to Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Jackie Keys in Pitt County, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 2, 2020.
Dremal was preceded in death by his grandfather, Monroe Latham, Sr; his paternal grandmother, Doris Keys, and grandfather, Andrew Keys.
Dremal Keys received his education in the Beaufort County Schools System in Chocowinity, North Carolina.
Dremal’s loves in life were family, basketball and children. He supported the community in many ways. He worked with the Back-To-School Bookbag Giveaway, the annual 10,000 Egg Hunt with the support of Kennedy Reddick and he supported inmates in the prison system.
Dremal was “Hero Dad” and more. HE WAS THE TRUTH!!!
Dremal leaves to cherish his precious memories: his parents, Monroe Latham, Jr. and Jackie L. Keys(Micheal Booth); his children: A’niyah Lanae Keys, Marquise Jones and Zy’Aire Jones; his loving fiancé, Shaketta A. Jones; his siblings: Nikitia M. Keys Spencer (Donte Spencer), his twin, Tremal Antonio Keys (Lecia Ebron), Jiavonie M. Latham, Jashia Wright and Scotty Wright; his grandmother, Hannah L. Latham; eight aunts: Denise M. Wallace (Jeff), Shevette Grimes (Rodger), Yvette Roundtree (Kent), Kimberly Moore, Mary Grimes (Bryant), Latonya McCabe (Bobby Jean) Latisha Whitaker and Demetria Foskey; six uncles: Ty Moore, Rev. Andrew Collins, Donald Keys, Eric Keys, Theddous Thomas and Terrell Thomas; eight nieces and nephews: Nehemiah, Jaden, Aleah, Za’mya, Camry, Zyion, Casidi, Adriane and Jamiyah; his brothers at heart: Greg Midgette, Justin Midgette, Tyrone Jordan, Byron Moore, Robert Clark, Linwood Whitley, Javores Williams, Kennedy Reddick, Cedric McCabe and Marcus Clark; and a host of cousins, friends and so much more family.
