Melvin Bernard Credle

Mr. Melvin "Butch" Bernard Credle of Washington, N.C. entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2022.

Melvin Bernard Credle was born February 23, 1954, to the union of Sonnie Moore, Jr., and Lula Irene Credle in Belhaven, North Carolina.
Melvin received his formal education at the John A. Wilkinson High School in Belhaven, North Carolina.

Melvin accepted Christ and was united with Mt. Hebron, where he served as a member.He was employed by Singer Furniture Co. as a painter and in construction until retirement.

In his leisure, he enjoyed walking on the waterfront and helping others, especially giving them rides.

Melvin Bernard Credle departed this life on December 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by: father, Sonnie Moore, Jr; mother, Lula Irene Credle; and siblings, William Credle and Brenda Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Pamela Gaskins (Anthony Sr.); grandchildren, Anthony Gaskins, Jr, Steven Carswell Jr, and Dysani Gaskins; great-grandchildren, Anthony Gaskins III, Grayson Gaskins, and Grace'Lynn Gaskins; sisters, Lula Ward (Sonny), Carolyn Credle (Eddie), Edith Biggs (Bryant), Rosa Cox (James), Kathy Moore, Linda Wilkinson, and Evangelain Moore; brothers, Ronnie Cutler and Larry Credle; and a host a relatives and friends.
