Ms. Mary Smith of Aurora, N.C. entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. 
 

Mary Williams Smith was born on January 26, 1943, to the union of Henry and Mary Williams in Aurora, North Carolina.
Mary Williams Smith received her formal education in the Aurora School System.
Mary Williams Smith accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, and she was united with Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ, where she served on the usher board and as a mother of the church.
Mary Williams Smith was united in holy matrimony with Samuel A. Smith on May 17, 1964. Their union was blessed with five children. She was employed by Earl Sadaler Seafood as a crab processor for over 30 years until she retired. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time in church on various boards, such as the usher board, mother board, and hospitality board.
Mary Williams Smith departed this life on November 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Smith; Parents, Henry and Mary Williams; five brothers; two sisters, and a grandson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Samuel of Maryland, Dorothy (Wallace) of Blounts Creek, Miles (Nicole) of Maryland, Kenneth (Kimberly) of New Jersey, and Richard of the home; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Billy Williams, Galane Williams, Georgia Taylor, Virginia Smith, Lavender Minor (Larry), Marina Garris (James), Charles Smith (Kathy), and Gray Smith (Pearl); and a host of other relatives and friends.
