Ma’Kaylah Noelle Lanier of LaGrange, N.C. Entered into eternal rest on May 17,2021.
Ma’Kaylah Noelle Lanier, 2, left us on May 17th, 2021, with her family by her side in LaGrange, NC. She was born July 19, 2018 to the union of Tiera Gardner Lanier and Terry Jermaine Lanier.
Ma’Kaylah was preceded in death by her great great grandmother Henrietta Gray, who she called her “ma ma”. For some time after her “ma ma” passed away, she would always say that she wanted to go be in heaven with her. MK was spoiled by many. She would always say I wanted my mommy, (Tiera Gardner Lanier), and her “ma” (Loretta Gardner). Whenever she could not get her way, she would always call out for her aunt Jasmine, Grandma Carolyn, her “da da” (Terry Lanier), her “pa pa” (James Gardner), her granddad (Henry Warren), or her uncle Tae. Ma’Kaylah was always well taken care of by her three favorite cousins: Anara Harrell, Aniyah Harrell, and Ariel Harrell.
Ma’Kaylah loved the color pink. One of her favorite cartoon characters was Scooby Doo. You could always find her randomly dancing or just smiling, because she was truly a sweetheart full of energy and love.
Ma’Kaylah is survived by the following: sisters: Naonma Lanier, Kaity Lanier, Chloe Lanier, and Terri Lanier; brother, Santana Lanier; grandmothers: Carolyn Warren, Mary Hill, and Patricia Joyner; grandfathers: Deon Gardner, Henry Warren, and Terry Lanier Sr.; great grandparents, Loretta Gardner and Tracey Warren; Aunts: Jasmine King, Breonta Warren, Sherba Lanier, Tierra Lanier, Shenieka Hill, Tisha White, Theresa Williams, Violent Grady, Linda Morgan, Nicole Morgan, Charmaine Morgan, Mandy Michelle, Shawn’ta Sutton; Uncles: Tavarous Warren, Andre Hill, Tevin Lanier, Terry Lanier, Jr., Chris Harrell, Cagg, Edward Jones, Ricky Waters, Larry Vaughn, Matthew Harrell, Joshua Harrell; Godparents: Nicole Whitfield, William Whitfield, Jr., Antonio Sutton, Marcus Robinson, Chiquita Grant, Jennifer Newkirk, and Anthony Morgan; God grandparents: Emma Whitfield, William Whitfield, Ada Uzzell, Pastor Sawyer (Betty); and a special friend, Dawn Price.
