Ms. Linda M. Credle of Pinetown, NC entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2022 at her home.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” - Matthew 5:4
LINDA MAE CREDLE was born on February 6, 1951, to the late Milbert Credle, Sr., and the late Ida Perkins Credle in Vanceboro, NC. She entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2022, at her home in Pinetown, NC.
Linda’s parents and she later relocated to Terra Ceia, NC. As an adult Linda, affectionally known as Mae, resided at the Caswell Developmental Center in Kinston, NC. She later moved back to Terra Ceia until her mother’s untimely death. Her brother, William Credle, and her beloved sister-in-law, Brenda Credle, were soon-to-be caregivers of Linda. Brenda would eventually care for Linda for over 40 years until God saw fit to call her home.
Linda attended Beaufort County Development Center for over 45 years.
Her spiritual life included frequents visits to both Queen Chapel Church in Terra Ceia, NC and Mt. Calvary in Acre Station, NC. She later became a proud member of Mt. Calvary where she loved giving God the highest praise.
So many people cherished Linda. She had a heart of gold and showed us what unconditional love truly was: a love that keeps going when things are not easy and that has no limits or boundaries. She was so genuine at heart that a simple hello would light up her day.
Linda had a quality support team including the members of the caretakers at CBC Pinnacle Home Care, Centerwell, and Trillium. A special thanks goes out to Terra Ceia Farms.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother; siblings, Milbert Credle, Jr., Cora Bell, and William “Buddy” Credle; and two cherished uncles, Royton “Dick” Credle and Jamie Lee Credle.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her long-time caregiver, Brenda K. Credle, two brothers, Larry Credle of Plymouth, NC, and James (Louise) Credle of Georgia, sister, Norma (Wade) Randolph of Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
