Mr. Larry Cornelius Harvey ,70, of Pantego, NC, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Larry Cornelius Harvey, Sr. was born December 13, 1953, to the union of Haywood and Shirley Harvey in Washington, NC.

Larry received his formal education in the Beaufort County School System. He was a former member of Queen Chapel Church of Christ.

Larry was united in holy matrimony with Jacqueline Murray on May 18, 1973, in Washington, NC. Their union was blessed with two children.

He was employed by Hackney & Sons as a body shop technician for forty years. He enjoyed basketball, fishing, racing, and spending time with his grandkids.

Larry C. Harvey, Sr. departed this life on August 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by, parents, Haywood and Shirley Harvey; brothers, John Harvey and Nelson Fitzgerald Harvey.

He leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Jacqueline Harvey; children, Kamesha Harvey, Larry (Donte) Harvey, Jr., and Cassandra Byrant-Williams (Andre); grandchildren, Davon Jamal Harvey (Kyra), Tayanna Harvey, Jomekeia Palmer, Jasmine Williams, Rayford Williams, Lee Williams, Brandon Williams, Andre Williams, and Keivontay Williams; great grandchildren, Travis, Tayla, Brooke, Julianna, Kaylani, Berlita, Jazarah; sister, Lisa White (Darryl); brothers, Garry Harvey (Lissa) and Cornell Harvey (Renee); sister-in-law, Pearl (Redmon), Patricia (Timothy), Linda, Leslie Jr. (Sherry), Richard Gibbs, Michelle Harvey and Barbara Slade; mother-in-law, Dorothy Brown; aunts, Olivia Whitaker, Sadie Harvey, and Lydia Simmons; special friends” brother to the end”, Willaim Godley, Lewis Harvey, Mitchell Gibbs and Avorn Oden; and host of nieces and nephews, cousin, and other relatives and friends.
