Mr. Keith Simmons of Washington, N.C. entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2022, at his home. 

Keith Douglas Simmons was born February 17, 1961, to Louvenia Moore in Beaufort County, North Carolina. He departed this life on March 17, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Keith Douglas Simmons received his formal education in Beaufort County N.C. School system.

Keith accepted Christ as his Savior at a early age and became a member of Temple of Jesus Christ Family Life Center.

Keith Douglas Simmons was united in holy matrimony with Barbara Hopkins April 9th, 1989. Their union was blessed with three children.

Keith was employed by Britthaven /Rivertrace Nursing Home until his health failed. He also worked at Care-O-World has a maintenance man. In his leisure Keith enjoyed fishing, basketball and shooting Pool.

Keith was preceded in death by his brother Milton Simmons; sister-in-law: Doris Pope; two brothers-in-law: James Hopkins, Jr., and Rocky Hopkins; stepfather: Clifton Moore; Mother-in-law: Mary Hopkins; Father-in-law: James Hopkins.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory his Wife: Barbara Ann, Three children: Jerron Hopkins, Sounya Godley (Richard) and Nikki Clemons (Mike) Six grandchildren; Jaki Hopkins, Jalyn Hopkins, Jamont Simmons, Braylon Godley, Aubrielle Godley, and Jaxon Godley. Two Sisters: Barbara Pope (Melvin), and Annette Reddick (Calvin); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
