John Ed Johnson

Mr. John Ed Johnson of Washington, N.C. entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2023. 

John Ed Johnson was born September 10, 1957, to Hattie Louise Mann Johnson and James Randolf Johnson Sr. which has preceded him in death.

John Ed Johnson went to Pantego High School and graduated in 1975, from school John went into the workforce at Weyerhaeuser until he retired of 32 years.

John married his sweetheart Janice Lee Boyd Johnson and was united in holy matrimony on January 28, 1979. Their union was blessed with five children.

John Ed Johnson departed this life on January 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by: Parents: James Johnson Jr. and Hattie Mann Johnson; and Daughter: Tomekia Michelle Johnson; Bobby Saunders, Jessie Lovick, Andrew Lovick, and James Johnson Jr. (Buck).

He leaves to cherish his memory: Spouse: Jancie Boyd Johnson; Children: Laquet Langley (Melvin), Jon De’Marcus (Marcia), Bryan T. Johnson (Natasha), and  Tomekia Riddick (William); Grandchildren: Kadiah Boyd, Antonio Woods, Shahn McCloud, Shikwahn Peartree, Tymmearah Peartree, TyJon Peartree, Jacques Reddick, Shamonie Johnson, Camarion Johnson, Ta’Shera johnson, Katisia Reddick, Jayshawnna Johnson, Keria Evertte, Damarcus Evertte, and  Kamodgia Evertte; God Children: Terrance Cherry, Stacey Holoway, and Zy’angel Shelton; Sisters and Brothers: William Johnson (Mary), Pasty Wilkinson (Bob), Vercal Peartree (Elder Donald Peartree),Edith Jones, Pastor Helen Rodman (Pastor Glen Rodman), Esther Gray (Vergon) Eldress Tonya Bunch (Bishop Melvin Bunch), Ginger Ross (Eddie), Barbara, Shelia (Jimmy), Jamal McCabe, and Iris Fonville, and Evangelist Cassandra Copper ; Sister-in-law: Joann Johnson; Adopted Children: Lucy Smith (Willie), Latillary Davis (Edward), and Stacy Langley; Best Friends; Larry Credle and Danis Taylor; host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
