He was employed by Home Improvement as a Painter (Self-employed) for over 30 years.

In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, listening to music, and watching movies. To know and love James is to either cuss him out or he’s going to cuss you out.

James Earl Spellman departed this life on December 16, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his father: Elijah Jenkins, mother: Hattie Spellman, Brother: Ted Spellman, Longtime lover: Regina Johnson, and Son: James Jayvon Spellmen

He leaves to cherish children: Ramel (Shaquanna), Tiffany, Shameeka (Anjelica), Shadiamond, James, Jameer, and Jahnae. His grandchildren: Zachristian, Treyshawn, Shamarion, Jaquan, Fantasia, Donquavius, Blessing, Aniyah, and Ca’Miyah. His parents Elijah Jenkins and Hattie Spellman. His siblings: Lee, Donald, Theresa, Earlene, Tiffany, Jimmy Spellman and several other nephews and nieces.
