Mr. James Leon Banks was born on March 15, 1955, to the union of James and Mary Banks in Washington, NC 27889.
James received his formal education in the Beaufort County Schools Systems in Washington, NC 27889.
James accepted Christ at an early age and was united with the former Life Restoration Center, where he served Deacon.
James retired as a CNA Orderly at Beaufort County Nursing Home.
James Leon Banks departed this life on September 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Banks; father, James O. Banks.
James leaves to cherish his memories: his children: LaKisha Peartree, Chris Peartree and Kennetta Brown; Grandchildren:
Essence Foreman, Akeem Foreman, Kala White, Khahliya White, Nicole Condon and Shay Moore; Four Great Grandchildren; his sister: Mary B. Smaw; brothers: Nathaniel Banks (Janice) and Lonnie Banks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
