Ms. Isabelle G. Latham of Blounts Creek, N.C. entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Isabella Gorham Latham, the daughter of the late Ollie and Mary Elizabeth Gorham, was born on October 11, 1932, in Beaufort County.
Isabella joined St. Anna M.B. Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health declined.
Isabella was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Dewey “Jack” Latham, who preceded her in death.
She was employed for many years with the former Britthaven Nursing Home in Washington, N.C. as a Nutrition coordinator.
Issabella possessed a humble and quiet spirit. She was very gracious for any acts of kindness extended to her. She truly loved the Lord, her family, and her church.
On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Isabella was called into a peaceful and eternal rest.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: Two sons: Antonio Latham and Monroe Latham, Sr.; One Grandson: Dremal Keys; Two brothers: Nathaniel Gorham, Sr., and Floyd Gorham; and One Sister: Virginia Moore.
To cherish her memory, she leaves one-step daughter-in-law: Mrs. Hannah Latham of Blounts Creek, NC; one grandson: Mr. Monroe “Sput” Latham, Jr. of Blounts Creek, NC; Four granddaughters: Shevette Grimes (Roger) of clayton, NC, Yvette Roundtree (Kenneth) of Washington, NC, Latonya McCabe (Bobby) of Blounts Creek, NC, and Mary Grimes (Bryant) of Blounts Creek, NC; Nephew: Henry Moore (Beulah) of Blounts Creek NC; Neices: Mary Kurt( Alfonso), Laurie Ann Gorham of Clayton, NC, Lisa Gorham Scales (Barry) of Knappolis, and Bernadette Simpson Berry (Rodney) of Youngsville, NC and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
