Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins received her formal education in Beaufort County School System.
Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was united with Christian Chapel.
Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins was employed as a Custodian for the Beaufort County school system.
In her leisure Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins enjoyed Crossword Puzzles and gardening, especially flowers.
Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins departed this life May 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Maurice Lawrence and John Hopkins Jr.; two sisters, Betty Collins and Doris Williams; four brothers, Leroy Lawrence Jr. William Oden, Billy Lawrence, and Thomas Lawrence.
Mrs. Helen Lawrence Hopkins leaves to cherish her memory her daughter: Tina Hopkins of Washington, N.C.; four grandchildren: Dajwa Redmond, Dasha Redmond, Destiny Huerta and Damond Redmond, of Washington, N.C., great grandchild Nasha Kinlaw; One sister: Sister Nelda Windley of Washington, N.C. ; brothers: Elder Ronnie Lawrence of Washington, N.C., and Donald Ray Satterthwaite of Fayetteville, N.C., Special Niece: Keisha Freeman, Great-niece: Mercedes; great-nephew: Zabriel and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews and friends.
