Glenn Alexander Palmer was born February 2, 1971, to the union of Robert Lee Palmer Sr. and Queen Esther Flynn in Belhaven, North Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2021.
Glenn A. Palmer received his formal education at John A. Wilkinson High School in Belhaven, North Carolina.
At an early age, Glenn Palmer served under the Leadership of the Late Superintendent Hoggard at Hoggard Temple in Belhaven, N.C. He accepted the Lord as his Personal Savior at Terra Ceia Baptist Church under Moderator Rev. Reginald Saunders. He was a faithful servant serving as a Trustee and a Church bus driver. Glenn then went to be a helper and served under his sister, the Late Apostle Helena Marie Palmer Smith at Highest Praise Worship Center in Washington, N.C.
He was employed by various fish plants in Belhaven, N.C., National Spinning Co. in Washington, N.C., Single Furniture Company in Chocowinity, N.C., Lowes in Washington, N.C., and Fountain Power Boat in Washington, N.C.
Glenn enjoyed baseball, basketball, football, which he was a true Dallas Cowboys Fan. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He had a love for people. He was place to place, like a taxi driver. He loved to praise the Lord and gave God the highest praise by shouting “HALLELUJAH!” and “ YES LORD!”
Glenn Palmer was in holy matrimony with Cora K. Johnson on July 28, 1998, in Pantego, N.C. Their union was blessed with 2 children.
Glenn was preceded in death by his mother; Queen Esther and father; Robert Lee Palmer Sr. and his sister Apostle Helena Marie Palmer Smith.
Glenn leaves to cherish his memories: spouse, Cora Palmer; his children : Phatema Riddick and Vantashia Palmer; A Niece that he raised Tamika Hogan (Shawn) one God daughter Ardreeauyna Boyd; two grandchildren Bri’yonati Scott and Jameer Scott; Two Sisters: Patricia Cobb (Brady) of Washington, N.C. and Vuanita Spencer of Plymouth, N.C.; three brothers Robert Jr. (Tanja) of Greenville, N.C., Rudolph Palmer of Maryland, Ronnie Ray (Danielle) of Belhaven, N.C.; one aunt Ellen Washington of Maryland; Two sisters-in-law: Annie Williams and Eunice Barrow; Three brothers- in-law: Fletcher (Peewee), Rodney (Peanut), Wayne (Pete) Johnson; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
