Glenn Gordon Gardner was born on February 16, 1969, to his parents, Dorothy Gardner and Tom Cancer, in Pitt County, North Carolina.
Glenn received his formal education at North Pitt High School in Bethel, North Carolina.
Glenn accepted Christ at Holly Hill Free Will Baptist Church at an early age.
Glenn was united in holy matrimony with Terri Dixon on July 12, 2014, in Greenville, North Carolina.
He was employed by Smithfield and Grains as a Machine Operator for the past four years.
In his leisure, he enjoyed detailing cars and spending time with friends and family. He was a devoted Washington Redskins fan.
Glenn Gordon Gardner departed this life on March 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Gardner and Tom Cancer.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife, Terri Gardner; children, Tivon Foreman, Shaquille Taylor, Zion Shepard, Xavier Shepard, Kevon Neal, and Lauren Wilkes; one granddaughter, Wynter Foreman, who had a special place in his heart; stepfather, Willie Lee Hollis; siblings, Dennis Lyons, Katina (Johnny Ray) Lyons, Mack (Cathy) McCarter, Carlos (Dennisha) McCarter, and Sean Veal; brothers-in-law, Douglas Ray Dixon and Christopher Dixon; two sisters-in-law, Keisha (Reginald) Barrett and Angela Vick; and a very dear aunt, Mary Ann Gardner.
He also leaves to cherish his memory: special friends, Tony Pollard, Reecie Jenkins, Donnie Norris, Michelle Williams, and Benjamin Frank; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
