Georgia accepted Christ at the early age and was a faithful member of Beebe Memorial CME Church in Washington, North Carolina.
Geogia retired from Washington High School as an English Teacher after 35 years of selfless service to students and the community. She held memberships with several organizations to include: a Lifetime Membership and Past President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Georgia leaves to cherish her memories: her son, William Thomas O’Pharrow; her grandchildren, Courtney, Tre, Kairee, Maurice, Jon, Avia, and Brien; seventeen great-grandchildren; a host of other close relatives and friends; but most of all a great legacy in the Washington Community that birthed many students that she loved as her very own.
