Mrs. Evelyn Foreman Moore, 74, of Blounts Creek, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at her home surrounded her loving family.
Evelyn Virginia Credle Foreman Moore was born November 13, 1949, to the late Elbert and Eula Foreman of Blounts Creek, NC. She married Bobby Moore, Sr. on May 5, 1967. She attended Beaufort County Schools and later received her high school diploma from Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School in 2003.
She was a dedicated member of St. Union Missionary Baptist Church until her health started to decline. She was employed at National Spinning for years and at various other factory jobs.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Aaron Jacob Moore and Justin Caleb Moore: her parents Elbert and Eula Foreman, two sisters, Angeline Davender and Diann (Lindsey) Moore. Also, preceded in death one nephew Pete Moore, and several aunts and uncles.
Evelyn (Aunt Ginger aka Ginger Baby) leaves to cherish her husband Bobby Moore of 57 years, children, Ty Moore of the home, Laura M. Green of Crestview, FL, Patricia M. Cox of Greenville, NC, and Bobby (Cassena) Moore of Petersburg, VA. Evelyn had twelve grandchildren, Quintin Pritchard, Tirus Myers, Tiffany Moore, Yasmine Lee, Damon Green II, Diamond Fejedelem, LaTesia Cox, Anthony (TJ) Cox, Jada Moore, Briana Moore; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild,; one sister Hattie Boyd,. three brothers William (Sandra) Foreman, Donald Foreman all of Blounts Creek, NC and Elbert Ray (Diane) Foreman of Fountain, NC; four aunts Hilda Cherry, Chirstian Howard, Lois Credle and Bessie Williams; one uncle,Wilbert McCloud; three brother’s in-laws, William (Camp) Moore of Blounts Creek, NC, Ronald (Edith) Moore of FL., Jamie Mack Moore of Core Pointe, NC;two sister-in laws, Glennora Moore Ham, Core Pointe, NC, and Mary Louise Moore of Blounts Creek, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved her sports, news, and fellowship with her closest friends.
