Earnest Roy Baker, Sr

Mr. Ernest Baker of Aurora, N.C. entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2022.

Mr. Earnest Roy Baker Sr. was born July 27,1940 to the union of Maebell and Clarence Baker in Salisbury, Maryland.

 Earnest Baker Sr. received his formal education in Pompano Beach, Florida, graduating from Blanch Ely High school.

As an adult, Ernest Baker Sr., accepted Christ as his savior, and joined Wells Temple Holiness where he served as deacon, and Sunday school teacher. Earnest also enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Earnest was a chef for many years.

In his leisure, Earnest enjoyed singing, and going to church.

 On May 23, 2022, God called Earnest Baker Sr. home to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Mrs. Brenda Clayborne; two brothers: Lonnie Baker, Charles Baker; and sister: Frankie Baker.

Mr. Earnest Roy Baker Sr.  leaves to cherish his memory: daughter Laverne Baker; three sons: Freddie Gene Stallworth, Earnest Roy Baker Jr., Christopher W Hicks; ten grandchildren; brother Malachi Baker; sister Pearl Hamilton, and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
