Dorothy Bernice Hall

Ms. Dorothy Bernice Hall of Snow Hill, NC entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2023.

Psalm 23:1-6  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: Thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Dorothy Bernice Hall is the daughter of the late Odell Hall and Letha Mae Cannon Hall.  She was born on May 12, 1964, in Lagrange, North Carolina.  She departed this life Thursday, June 22, 2023.

She received her formal education in the Greene County.  She graduated from Greene Central High School. She attended Lenoir Community College, Snow Hill, NC where she studied nursing and received her NA certificate. 

She joined Mt. Pleasant Holiness Church at an early age.

Dorothy was a nursing assistant at Britthaven now known as Glendale Forest in Snow Hill, NC, and worked at ECU in Greenville, NC as a dietitian. She worked at Dollar General in Snow Hill, NC.

She loved Bingo and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and 1 brother

She leaves to witness this celebration of life: 4 sisters: Grace H. Waters, Mary L. Rorie, Betty lL. Hall, Susan H. Parker all of Snow Hill, NC; 2 brothers: Bennie F. Hall of Goldsboro, NC, and Freddie Hall/Lisa of Snow Hill, NC. A host of of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special niece, Cynthia Lanier. Her godmother, Lavern Albritton and family.
