Bishop Willie Jeff Reed of Greenville, N.C. entered into eternal rest on December 27,2020 at his home surrounded by family.

Bishop Willie J. Reed departed this life Sunday, December 27, 2020, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 1, 1935, to the late Willie Reed and Annie Lou Spradley Hawkins Reed. Bishop Reed was the oldest of all his siblings.
Bishop was raised and attended school in Colquitt, Georgia. At an early age, he moved to Brooklyn, New York. Bishop Willie Reed worked in the foundry and machine shop at Burndy Company for 26 years where he retired.
Bishop started out as a Deacon. Bishop Willie J. Reed was founder and Pastor of The True Holiness Pentecostal Church in Brooklyn, New York. He was ordained by the late Bishop Williams. He was the Pastor of this church for more than 50 years. He had revivals and evangelized all across the country. He was the founder of The Reed Gospel Singers which they traveled all across the country. He met and married Yvonne Massey on June 21, 2008. He moved to Greenville, North Carolina, in 2009. He joined Noah’s Ark FSHG Deliverance Church in 2010 under the leadership of Dr. Mary C. Pippins. He was ordained through the Philadelphia Counsel of Clergy and became the State Bishop of North Carolina. He was a member of the National Association Gospel Promotors and Managers organization under the leadership of Barbara Spradley McLaughlin. He was also a Bishop in the True Standard North Carolina Convocation District under the leadership of Bishop Charles Dingle since 2018. Bishop loved the Lord and loved to praise the Lord. He lived what he preached. His saying was, “I am sincere in what I do for the Lord” and he didn’t mind praising the Lord. He was faithful. He loved his family and he loved his Pastor and church family. Bishop was also a member of the choir.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Reed, his mother, Annie Lou, and his two brothers, Henry and John Lester Reed.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife, Mother Yvonne Reed of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Walker of Colquitt, GA, Jacqulyn Reed Washington of Bainbridge, GA; one son, Willie James Reed of Tallahassee, FL; five sisters: Necia Beal, Valarie Stubbs and Patricia Ann Ackins, all of Bainbridge, GA, mary Reed of Tallahassee, FL, Willie Mae Reed of Virginia; three special aunts, Julia of Tallahassee, FL; Susan Spradley of Orlando, FL; Ann Butler of Atlanta, GA; Two stepdaughters, Stacy Massey and Tracy Massey, Goth of Greenville, NC, mother-in-law, Odessie Wallace of Knoxville, TN; Two Sister-in-law, three brother-in-law's, had Ten stepbrothers on the mothers side; a special cousin Barbara McLaughlin; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
